A few months ago we were excited to be invited to Lancashire County Cricket Club for an open afternoon where they unveiled their impressive new ‘Gold marquee’. The 2200sq meter structure comes complete with a reception area, bespoke kitchens and a permanent star cloth ceiling.

Further to this demolition work has just begun to prepare for phase one for their multi-million pound investment scheme. The plans involve a £12million self-contained conference and events facility.

We can’t wait to see the finished article, even though we’ll have to hang on until the beginning of 2010! But you know what they say; you can never have too many event venues, this is more great news for the Manchester conference and events industry.
