Rapport favourite (as far as industry magazines go) Conference and Incentive Travel has this month announced Manchester above Las Vegas and Berlin as the third best conference destination in the world!

We were piped to the post by London and Barcelona, but even ranked above Dubai, who came fifth by readers of the monthly publication.

Voters praised Manchester for its “continued investment in its conference infrastructure”. With the Conservative Party Conference due to come to the city in 2011, it looks like the number 1 spot is well within Manchester’s grasp.
