21 May 2010 “Seeing the Light” – an event to remember
After 5 days, 184 delegates, 42 crew, 3 trucks, 1 ash cloud and lots of hard work, the Rapport team are back on British soil after producing (even if we do say so ourselves) an amazing event in Paris.
It seems like so long a go when, back at the end of 2009 we found out we had won a 3- way pitch to produce the flagship annual Senior Mangers Meeting for a global Pharmaceutical company, and ever since then its been all systems go to ensure we produced the best content, technical, digital and overall delegate experience the client had ever seen.
Le Meridien Montparnasse in Paris didn’t know what had hit it as we embarked on a two day rig, incorporating a 20m wide screen, 35m long catwalk, running through 3 different and bespoke sets, a total of 48 different videos and animations and a full room changeover during a 15 minute coffee break!
The event covered achievements of the company over the past 5 years, which were then displayed for the delegates to see, inspiring talks by the CEO and Vice president, an awards dinner ‘Spotlighing Excellence’ within the team, workshops using interactive aides to ensure full engagement and a highlights video, filmed and produced on-site which was played to finish off an action-packed but motivating two days, which got across key message through every medium we could think of!
We all feel very proud of ourselves and can’t wait to help this client continue to deliver awe-inspiring and completely ‘one-off’ events in the future, now all we have to do is think about how to top this one!
