30 Apr 2010 More than 65% of events called off due to ash cloud, reports UK association

Eventia agency members are reporting that, from the week commencing 19 April, about two-thirds of their events were cancelled or deferred, with groups on the ground being flown back to the UK via clear European airspace, then by coach and ferry.
