9 Oct 2009 Rapport delivers 5 events in 8 days!!

Its been a whirl-wind couple of weeks for Rapport, with us producing five events within 8 working days!! Things kicked off last Monday with the long awaited, and eagerly anticipated Tourism Awards.

With no time to bask in the glory of the nights success our next event was a prestigious award ceremony which took place at the East midlands Convention Centre in Nottingham, despite the venue’s kitchen been in the middle of a major renovation, over 400 were wined and dined and treated to an auction which included a Cliff Richards and the Shadows signed guitar!

With the weekend to recover we were at the impressive Thorpe Park Hotel on Monday to manage a business awards lunch, complete with motivational speaker, Deirdre Bounds.

On Wednesday we were back in Leeds, this time in one of Leeds top venues, Savilles Hall at the Royal Armories. 338 guests enjoyed an evening of fine dinning (I speak from experience as the crew were treated to the same menu as the audience) and awards, all hosted by veteran of the Yorkshire media community, Nik Wood.

Just to cap things off we were at the Hilton Metropole, Birmingham on Thursday to produce a large Retail Conference. The conference consisted of a speech from the newly-appointed MD, as well ‘experiential Zones’ which enabled delegates to experience new areas of the business through hands-on interaction, adding measurable value to the overall event.

What a fortnight, now we are on a roll and look forward to the next two weeks…
